What is a Festival Wedding?

? FESTIVAL: A festival is a music event, usually held outdoors and attended by thousands of music fans. Multiple artists play often on several stages, with art installations, roaming performers and on some occasions, these festivals last multiple days.

? WEDDING: Typically, a $20,000-$60,000 party intended to represent a couple’s devotion to one another (see Marriage). Such a party usually involves a year or more of planning and lasts only a single day (NOT WITH FWA! We highly recommend the entire weekend!)

Festival Weddings Australia brings Pop Up Wedding Ceremonies to & alongside Australia’s best festivals as well as Bespoke Festival Wedding Planning Australia wide.

In an Australian first, Festival Weddings Australia (FWA) gives fun-loving couples the unique, budget-friendly option to tie the knot at their favourite festival.

Stalwart festival fan and Civil Celebrant, Talitha Mitchell & partner Shey Ringham, came up with the idea as an alternative way to do weddings for those couples looking to celebrate their love in a spectacular, colourful and versatile venue.

“I can’t think of a better place to have a wedding!” says Ringham. “A festival is a temporary world of music, magic, community, creativity and celebration. It just makes sense.”
